Ishan Kishan’s hilarious fielding gaffe
The incident occurred on the second ball of the opening over when Mohammed Shami bowled a length delivery around off-stump to PBKS opener Prabhsimran Singh. The batter gently drove the ball past the bowler, and it seemed like a straightforward stop for the fielder — until it wasn’t.
Kishan, stationed mid-off, moved towards the ball but surprisingly failed to spot it even though it was lying right beside him. The confusion continued for a few seconds until SRH captain Pat Cummins ran in and picked up the ball, bringing the moment to a comical end.
